Mohammed Alnaas, 31, is the first Libyan to win the International Prize for Arabic Fiction with his book, “Bread on Uncle Milad’s Table.” Alnaas’ prize is $50,000 as well as an English translation of his book. The novel, victorious over five other short-listed literary pieces, delves into traditional gender roles and the idea of masculinity.
