NSW government announces childcare funding to take pressure off parents


The NSW government has announced a massive childcare funding package that is touted to save families up to $4,000 a year. $3.5 billion will be spent over the next decade to increase childcare availability, with operators being given funds to expand facilities, recruit staff and build new childcare centres. 47,000 jobs are expected to be created as a result of this initiative.
