The Philharmonie de Paris announces that tickets for the opera celebration commemorating the Planet of the East “ Om Kolthoom” are sold out

After the approval of Dr. Ahmed Hanno, Minister of Culture, to accept the invitation of the Philharmonie de Paris Theater, which is considered one of the most famous and beautiful theaters in the world, to celebrate the half-century anniversary of the passing of the lady of Arab singing, Umm Kulthum, in a huge artistic celebration.

Dr. Lamia Zayed, President of the Cairo Opera House, confirmed that the website of the Philharmonie de Paris Theater announced that attendance cards had been sold out and the waiting list had been opened for those wishing to watch the concert. Dr. Lamia Zayed indicated that the theater’s capacity is 2,400 seats.

They were fully reserved, which reflects the value of Egyptian and Arab creativity globally, as it is one of the important elements of human heritage. She added that the invitation came as an expression of the leading and distinguished cultural position that Egypt enjoys internationally. It is worth noting that the celebration will be held at the beginning of next February and will be performed by the Arab Music Orchestra, led by Maestro Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, and with the participation of opera stars Rehab Omar and Iman Abdel Ghani.
