When you think of the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Pyramids, what thoughts come to you?

Images immediately in our mind of the Pyramids are of an ancient wonder.

The Pyramids are one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its sheer size and height at 138 metres tall. They have a great historical legacy, mystery and myth. The Pyramids are a symbol of Egypt that is known throughout the world.

In recent weeks the Great Pyramid of Giza and Egypt is now associated with the most unlikely of connections; a cute, stray white dog named Boka.

When tourist Mr. Marshall Mosher, was paragliding over Egypt’s Great Pyramids of Giza on October 17, he spotted a barking dog atop the largest of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The footage of the Egyptian landmark, built more than 4,500 years ago, shows Mr. Mosher soaring in the desert sky. Mosher discovers an interesting sight on the top of the pyramid- a dog casually enjoying the scenery.

On Instagram Mr. Mosher wrote that “A dog climbed all the way up the Great Pyramid of Giza!” Mr. Mosher wrote in amazement along with the evidence of his filmed clip. The video went viral on Instagram.

Many on the Instagram platform chimed in that Mr. Mosher and his paragliding friends had come across Anubis, the Egyptian god of the underworld.  The egyptian god is portrayed with a canine head, leading the public to dub Boka the hound as “Anubis Pup.”
