Discover the magic of Moomba

Start 2025 with a bang! Australia’s largest free community festival.

Celebrated over 5 days starting Thursday March 6th running to Monday 10th March.

Fun for all the family. From Tik Tok workshops to African dance performances, as well as popular mainstays like the Moomba parade and Birdman rally accompanied by a nightly fireworks display, there is something for everyone!

Taking place along the Yarra River, accessible via public transport from Flinders St station with parking available at Federation square, the festivities start from Thursday 6 March at 4pm.
