Liverpool FC has an absolute star in their flying winger Mohammed Salah. The Egyptian player, arguably the best Arabic player of his generation has been lauded for his exploits on the pitch winning the Golden Boot ahead of Harry Kane in his first season at Liverpool but showed another side to his character in recent weeks.
On leaving Liverpool’s Melwood training ground, a young fan was so desperate to obtain Salah’s autograph when he saw the player leaving in his car he ran after him, bumped into a lamp post and fell to the ground resulting in a broken nose.
Seeing the incident, Salah performed a U-turn and took the boy home before providing him with the desired autographs and posed for photographs before the young Louis Fowler was taken to hospital for treatment. Louis later said, “It was worth busting my nose to meet Mo Salah.”
Salah scored twice in Liverpool’s recent comfortable 3-1 win over Arsenal.
