Alexandra Chidiac is an Australian Soccer player who plays in Atletico Madrid in the position of Midfielder and has played for the Australian national team, commonly known as the Matilda’s.
Chidiac began her career playing with the Croydon Kings alongside the boy’s team. In 2011, she won the 14B- grade Premiership, making her debut by being selected to play for the Football Federation in South Australia Women division Premier League, with FFSA under 14/15 teams.
In 2013, she was awarded Premier League Player of the Year by scoring a total of 33 goals in the championship. Her success didn’t stop there, as Chidiac landed a place at the National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour in the July of 2013 where she was once again a pronounced player of the tournament.
In 2015, Chidiac became integral to Melbourne City’s unbeaten season in the W-League, with a winning debut of 6-0 over Sydney FC and a total of 10 appearances. She returned to Adelaide United for a period of 2 years, with multiple appearances and a couple of goals under her belt.
In July 2018, Chidiac signed with Atletico Madrid and has continued to rock the stadium since.
