The “Joy Awards” were held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on January 19th, recognizing the region’s best talent across various entertainment sectors. Much like the Grammys, Emmys, and Oscars, the Joy Awards brings together the brightest stars and trailblazers of the region, offering a powerful, all-encompassing tribute to artistic achievement. The event was highlighted by unforgettable moments, including stunning performances by Christina Aguilera, Andrea Bocelli with Mohammed Abdo, and Michael Bublé with Wael Kfoury, along with a Lifetime Achievement Award presented to the legendary Morgan Freeman. Now in its fifth year, the Joy Awards has become one of the largest ceremonies celebrating artistic achievements in the Middle East.
Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom, welcomed a star-studded lineup as numerous A-listers graced the lavender carpet. Among the celebrities present were icons such as Majid al Mohandis, Asala, Yusra, Cyrine Abdelnour, and Hande Ercel, alongside Hollywood heavyweights like Anthony Hopkins, Matthew McConaughey, and Amanda Seyfried.
