On the evening of November 4, 2025, a momentous event took place in Egypt as President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and First Lady Intisar El-Sisi inaugurated the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). This historic ceremony was attended by nearly eighty delegations from around the world, alongside representatives from various regional and international organizations, as well as prominent global companies.
The official spokesperson for the presidency revealed that President El-Sisi warmly welcomed the heads of delegations, including dignitaries and royalty, setting a tone of camaraderie and respect. The event commenced with an artistic performance titled “The World Plays One Melody,” which was followed by a captivating display of lasers and drones. This presentation creatively illustrated the “Orion Belt” theory and highlighted the connection between the construction of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the ancient pyramids. The celebration included a Coptic song, Sufi chanting, and a concluding drone display that conveyed the message “Civilizations Flourish During Peace.”
