International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) 

The IPRS program enables international students to undertake a postgraduate research qualification in Australia and gain experience with leading Australian researchers. Each scholarship is available for a period of two years for a Masters by research degree or three years for a Doctorate by research degree.

The Graduate Research Scholarship was established by the University of Melbourne and is awarded to high achieving domestic and international research students.  The scholarship benefits include tuition fee waiver, living allowance, relocation grant, and overseas student health cover.

Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarships

The University of Melbourne’s International Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to high achieving international students in recognition of their excellent academic results. Eligible candidates are selected based on academic merit and ranked according to their results achieved in the final year of high school to determine the value of the scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship you need to be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia, have received an offer for an undergraduate course at the University of Melbourne, have achieved excellent final year school results, such as, at least four A* grades in GCE A Levels, at least 97% in an approved foundation program, at least a score of 43 in the International Baccalaureate (IB) and not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program)

This scholarship provides either a:

  • $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first year of an undergraduate degree;
  • 50% fee remission for the 3 year duration of an undergraduate degree; or
  • 100% fee remission for the 3 year duration of an undergraduate degree

Adelaide Scholarships International

The University of Adelaide offers the  Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) program to attract high quality international postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research effort.  The scholarships includes course tuition fees, annual living allowance, and health insurance.

Flinders International Postgraduate Scholarships

Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (FIPRS) are awarded to  suitably qualified applicants to pursue a full-time research higher degree at Flinders University – up to two years for a Research Masters degree and up to three years for a Research Doctorate degree.  The scholarship covers international student tuition fees, living allowance, establishment allowance, relocation costs and airfares.
