a successful first year in 2025, the Ramadan Night Market makes its well awaited return in 2026 bigger and better than ever. The event running from 19 Feb to 15 March with start times each evening of 7pm to late, aims to foster cultural harmony, community engagement and social inclusion.

Inspired by Sydney’s record-breaking Ramadan market, the event aims to be the largest event of its kind in Victoria. This year’s event features a massive increase in vendors with more than 200 making an appearance including local shops, community organizations and food stalls compared to last year’s 80 vendors.

An estimated 1 million people are expected to visit the Thomas Street and Harmony Square precinct with the market stretching over 430 metres this year, more than doubling last year’s 180-metre expanse. The vibrant event looks to attract families, food lovers and cultural enthusiasts and will be the perfect destination for anyone looking to experience the tantalizing flavours and festivities of Ramadan in a dynamic urban setting in the heart of Dandenong.

Organizer and Bright Community Organization president Ahmad Ghowsi, said “what makes this event truly special is its inclusiveness, “it’s not just for the Muslim community but for everyone, regardless of cultural or religious background.”
