Statue of king George beheaded on kings birthday holiday


On Monday morning the 10th June, police were called to Kings Domain to discover a head removed and paint thrown at the monument.


A statue of King George V has been beheaded and covered in red paint in the latest attack on colonial monuments in Victoria


Police had been referred to as to the statue in Melbourne`s Kings Domain on Linlithgow Avenue simply after 9am on Monday.
