Professor Mohamad Abdalla from the University of South Australia travelled to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Oman to promote opportunities for academic cooperation between Australia and the Arab Region.
During his visit, Professor Abdalla established a number of partnerships between Australian and Arab universities creating ongoing arrangements for intellectual and cultural engagement. He also promoted the many educational opportunities for Arab students available in Australia.
