From 28 August to 5 September, Melbourne Fashion Week (M/FW) takes over the city with over 150 events celebrating Melbourne’s world-renowned fashion scene. The event features a huge program of runways featuring the country’s top labels, workshops, talks, parties, exhibitions, films, retail experiences and free fashion events all week long.
City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which M/FW takes place. For the Wolwurrung (Wurundjeri), Boonwurrung, Taungurong, Dja Dja Wurrung and the Wathaurung groups who form the Kulin Nation, Melbourne has always been an important meeting place for events of social, educational, sporting and cultural significance.
